1. Stay active
Our joints are susceptible to natural wear and tear. But maintaining movement ranges in a joint is vital in maintaining its function. You can try lighter forms of exercise such as cycling/swimming, or even keep limber with yoga. The key is to keep your joints moving comfortably. Practice crouching to the floor to keep the hips, knees and ankles supple or take the arms over the head to keep the shoulder girdle moving. Movement will encourage natural fluid to lubricate the joint for ease. Staying active will also ensure you keep a healthy weight- taking unnecessary pressure of the joints is always going to help!
